Contact Us
Found a calculation that looks wrong, a price that is off for your area, or want a calculator we have not built yet? Tell us.
Email us directly
The fastest route is plain email: hello@drywallplanner.com. We read every message, and we aim to reply within two business days. Reports of a wrong result go to the front of the queue.
What to write to us about
- Calculator bugs. A sheet count, mud total or cost line that does not match your own takeoff, a field that will not take a value, or a page that breaks on your phone.
- Wrong local prices. If a cost range or labor figure is far from what suppliers and contractors charge where you live, tell us your state or metro area, the item and the price you were quoted. We recheck the range against published sources before changing it.
- Code questions. If a page seems to misread a code section, name the page and the section. We can point you to the section a page relies on, but only your building department can say what applies to your project.
- Embedding the calculators. Embedding is free, and the codes are on the calculators page. Write if a frame does not resize on your site, or if you need a tool that cannot be embedded yet.
- Ideas. A calculator or guide you wish existed, and the job you needed it for.
What to put in a bug report
- The page you used, ideally the full address from your browser.
- The numbers you entered: room size, wall height, doors and windows, sheet size, waste percentage, and whether you used feet and inches or metric.
- The result the page gave you, and the result you expected.
- Where your expected number came from, such as your own takeoff, a supplier quote or a contractor's estimate.
- For display problems, your device and browser. A screenshot helps, and you can attach one in your email app.
That is usually enough for us to reproduce the problem on the first try.
A planning tool, not professional advice
Drywall Planner gives planning estimates. It is not engineering, code or legal advice, and it does not replace your supplier, your contractor or your building department. The disclaimer explains the limits in full. The calculators and guides are built and checked by Inam Ur Rehman, whose page explains how each rule is checked and lists the sources behind it.
Or use the form
The form sends your message straight to our inbox. We use your email address only to reply. If sending fails, it opens a pre-filled message in your own email app instead.
