1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Drywall Planner (the “site”) you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to every visitor, whether or not you contact us.

2. What the site provides

The site provides free drywall estimating calculators and related articles. All calculations run in your browser. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Estimates and no warranty

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty, express or implied, that the estimates, quantities, prices or articles are accurate, complete, current or suitable for your project. Read our disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting or any connected system.
• Interfere with the site’s operation, including by automated request flooding or denial of service.
• Scrape or republish substantial portions of our articles as your own content.
• Remove, obscure or interfere with advertising or attribution on the site.
• Reverse engineer the site in order to present our calculators as your own product.

Reasonable, well-behaved crawling for search engines and AI assistants is welcome, and our llms.txt and robots.txt files describe what we invite you to index.

5. Intellectual property

The site name, design, article text, code and layout are owned by Drywall Planner and protected by copyright. You may use the calculators freely for your own commercial or personal projects, and you may quote or cite our articles with a link back. You may not copy an article wholesale, mirror the site, or reproduce our calculators in your own product without written permission.

The underlying estimating formulas are common industry knowledge and we claim no ownership over them.

6. Your content

If you email us a suggestion, correction or feedback, you grant us permission to use it to improve the site, including publishing a corrected figure, without payment or attribution. Do not send us anything confidential.

7. Third party links and advertising

The site contains third party advertising and may link to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices, and a link or advertisement is not an endorsement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drywall Planner and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, material, time or data, arising from your use of or reliance on the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the site (which is zero) or ten US dollars.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Drywall Planner against any claim arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the site operator, without regard to conflict of laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
